WATER ALERTS IN MEXICO – JULY 2024
There are 46 Alerts in Mexico. In July, 12 drought alerts were recategorized as the drought intensifies across Mexico.  In some locations, the drought has moved from severe to extreme, while others from extreme to exceptional. WT map displays all the extreme and exceptional drought locations.

On July 1, raw sewage spilled into the Nogales wash, due to a blocked pipe in Nogales MX and found its way to Nogales, AZ.  In Tijuana, 100 billion gallons of untreated sewage, industrial waste and urban runoff have been dumped into the Tijuana River Over the last five years.
